My Journey...

We face many journeys throughout our lives and all for a greater purpose well beyond our comprehension. I've learned a lot about myself, my friends and family through my journey with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). It has taught me to be stronger, humble and grateful for the blessings right in front of me. It has renewed my faith in ways that I could never express. It has brought me closer to some and further from others.

As this journey began to unfold, I sensed a deep seated urge to document my experiences with pictures. I have always loved taking pictures and one of my greatest rewards is capturing someone's picture in a way that allows them to view the picture through the emotional lens of their life's experiences. Being a photographer permits me to temporarily become a guest in their life's journey whether it is to preserve one moment, a family picture or birthday party, or document a life changing event such as a graduation, wedding or birth.

My sometimes debilitating experiences with MS have given me the opportunity to view life for what it is, A Blessing, and that is transferred to every picture I take. I consider it a privilege to walk my own journey and the invitation through photography to sometimes walk with other people on theirs.
